The Kel-Tec RDB is a 5.56 NATO bullpup rifle with a 20.5-inch barrel and a 27.75-inch overall length. It weighs 7.7 pounds and holds 20 rounds plus one in the chamber, with one 20-round magazine included. The black rifle has standard sights, a threaded barrel and a Picatinny rail for an optic. Its ambidextrous manual safety and downward ejection let it work from either shoulder.

A bullpup layout suits a shooter who wants a full-length barrel in a compact package. Because the rifle accepts AR-15 pattern magazines, owners can use the magazines they already have. Standard sights come on the rifle, but a scope is not included, so buyers should plan on adding an optic separately. The downward ejection keeps spent cases out of the shooter's line of sight, which helps the bullpup work from either shoulder.
