The Henry Long Ranger is a lever-action rifle chambered in .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO. It has a 20-inch blued barrel with a 1:9 twist, a 40.5-inch overall length and a weight of 7 pounds. The American Walnut stock sits on a black hardcoat anodized receiver, and the detachable magazine gives a 5+1 capacity with one magazine included. The receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope, and factory models come without sights.

This rifle suits a buyer who wants a traditional lever-action look with a modern centerfire chambering. A scoped lever rifle is a familiar setup for field use, and the drilled receiver makes it straightforward to fit the scope mount of your choice. At 7 pounds with a 40.5-inch overall length, it handles the way a traditional lever rifle does.
